The mandate of the Fraser Valley Christian Junior Hockey Association is to provide a venue for male Christian youths who do not play in any other organized league for a variety of reasons, (such as Sunday play, ability, or performance), to play ice hockey.
The goal of the Association is to provide a team sport that is played in a Christian environment, with a primary focus on fun and a secondary focus on competitiveness. It is a hockey association that will promote good attitudes and sportsmanship. It will be a non-contact league that will promote and encourage skill-based play and player development from the time a player will participate in the league. It will offer an alternative to Minor Hockey by providing a fun, competitive, challenging game in a positive Christian atmosphere.
Hello Parents!
We hope you have all had an enjoyable Spring Break! We have some more details regarding the awards night. The awards are set for the 17th of April. It will be hosted at the Langley Christian High School Gym. We will start at 7 pm and go till 9 pm.
Drinks and doughnuts will be provided. Yum!
If the kids have jerseys, please feel free to wear them, but please remember to bring them back to the proper Division Representative when the evening is finished.
Please also remember to return all the goalie gear to the proper representatives.
The evening should only last about an hour and a half, so please plan to stay for the entire event. This will eliminate a lot of disruption during the ceremony.
We would like to thank all those volunteers who put in the time and effort to help our league become so successful this year!
Thank you!
